Late Cancellation fee is applied if the session is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

Reduced rates

Sliding scale, reduced rates are available to those who are uninsured, underinsured, or wish to not use insurance for any reason. These spots are limited and offered by Alex as able, determined by balancing sustainability of livelihood with commitment to expanding access of therapy services. Get in touch to learn about current availability of reduced rate sessions.

Reduced rates are determined based on self-reported need, income, and Anubhava Mental Health’s sliding scale. You will not be asked to provide justification for reduced rate need or proof of income.

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

If you are not using insurance for services for any reason you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care may cost.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. You can learn more about the No Surprises Act and your right to a Good Faith Estimate here.

There may still be costs you are responsible for even if services are in-network. It is recommended that you contact your insurance provider prior to scheduling any services so you are aware of your coverage and anticipated costs (Deductibles, copays, co-insurance, etc). Out-of-Network coverage

If Anubhava Mental Health is out-of-network for you, documentation can be provided upon request. You may submit this documentation for reimbursement from your insurance company. It is not guaranteed that your insurance company will cover out-of-network benefits. Contact your insurance provider prior to scheduling to learn more about this option.
